All Coles Refrigeration engineers have completed the FGas Training required by the secretary of state for the environment, food & rural affairs (DEFRA) to operate an F-Gas Certification body under the stationary equipment provisions of fluorinated greenhouse gases regulations.

Our F-Gas training includes Identify basic systems, terms, principles, units and how these relate to theory and thermodynamics of vapour compression and refrigerants.

-Identify the causes and effects of global warming and climate change.

-Identify causes and effects of ozone depletion.

-Identify stationary refrigerants, air conditioning, and heat-pump systems components, functions and leakage risks.

-Identify the hazards and safe working practices for the installation, commissioning and handling of refrigerants.

PRACTICAL

– Fabricate and examine pipework

-Undertake pressure testing, evacuation and record completion

-Undertake refrigerant charging, leak charging and record keeping

-Undertake recovery of refrigerants and oils and prepare for disposal
